Rare Human shaped cleaver
from the USSR, made in the
1920's. The cleaver features a
full tang and has a leg shaped brown plastic handle. Weighs 15.8 ounces. 11 inches long,
5 inches at the blade.
Human leg shaped cleaver with a bronze boot is one of
the more unusual designs of this kind. 1920's Figural leg and boot, farm cleaver from
the French countryside, purchased from a shop in the Latin quarter of Paris, France. The bronze boot pommel is
a great detail not often seen.
The blade is heavier than most
cleavers. Weighs 1 pound, 12.3ounces. 12.5 inches long,

This striking Woman shaped cleaver has been restored and had a new handle put on by blacksmith Kevin Greenlee in Gig Harbor, Washington. This cleaver came from Paris, France and is nearly 100 years old. It is very heavy and in great shape for its age.
